It's that time of year again

No, I don't mean Thanksgiving and Christmas, but they are approaching quickly. What I'm referring to is the ritual moving offices/buildings that happens at Microsoft. My team has enjoyed 7+ years in the same building (although I've occupied 4 different offices during that time), but, alas, it is our time to move. This move has been scheduled for over a year, and the date to move kept shifting until, when our bosses said we would move in November, our reply was "What year?". I came in last weekend and took my plants and my more breakable stuff home. Our moving crates finally showed up Wednesday morning (Craig kept teasing me, saying that they were canceling the move), and the team has spent the last 3 days (actually, mostly just Friday) wildly packing. We have been told we need to be crossing the thresholds of our offices by 4:59 since the movers will show up promptly at 5:00. The move will take all weekend long and finish sometime late on Monday. So, we can't be in our new digs until Tuesday morning. And then, we will take Tuesday and Wednesday to unpack before we head out for the long Thanksgiving weekend.
